Educational Therapy is “A form of therapy used to treat individuals with learning differences, disabilities, and challenges. This form of therapy offers a wide range of intensive interventions that are designed to remediate learning problems” (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Educational therapy). Educational Therapy offers pupils who have intellectual disabilities and other learning challenges a wide range of intensive, individualized interventions designed to retrain and stimulate the brain and at the same time remediate learning problems.
Educational therapy is recommended for students who may have learning disabilities due to Deficit Disorder, (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, Mental Retardation and other learning challenges and conditions.
Students demonstrating difficulties in language, vocabulary math, reading comprehension, written expression and time management can also benefit from educational therapy.
